Recruitment Software Company Releases Social Networking White Paper

We previously reported that recruitment software company Bullhorn had produced a white paper advising recruiters on how they can use LinkedIn and other social networks for recruiting purposes.

Now, BrightMove, Inc., an applicant tracking system and recruitment software (Click here) company that provides services for HR, staffing and recruitment outsourcing companies, also has released a white paper designed to help recruiting firms and HR departments get their social media recruitment efforts in gear.

The white paper focuses on the fact that recruiting software should only be one small aspect of recruiting and that creativity and networking savvy are driving the recruiting revolution.

“With the ever changing lay of the recruiting landscape, employers and hiring managers now have more staff sourcing avenues and opportunities than ever before seen,” Nanci Lamborn, a 20-year veteran of recruiting and HR who helped write the white paper, said. “Terminologies and technologies never heard of even two years ago seem to pop up almost weekly.

“It is no secret that online technologies now dominate the recruiting marketplace,” she continued. “But try to launch a strong Web 2.0 recruiting strategy without adequate planning and preparation, or miss a critical element along the way, and very quickly your candidate pools can dry up as top talent grows tired of waiting for your response or moves on to a better functioning recruitment process. This free guide is aimed at helping you formulate a strategy for your social media recruitment efforts.”

The white paper includes: 10 steps to get you moving in the right direction; a quick reference for searching passive candidates through Google and other search engines; access to a list of sites, tools and resources; and an invitation to discuss relative topics in an upcoming Webinar.

“We are very excited to work with Nanci in helping recruiters in their recruiting efforts,” BrightMove COO Michael Brandt said. “Recruiting Software is just one small part of recruiting. It is creativity and networking savvy that is driving the recruiting revolution. Nanci’s guide is sure to help any company expand their social networking reach.”
