The PCRecruiter ASP receives a long-awaited software update on Tuesday, February 22 which includes nearly a hundred improvements and code tweaks throughout the software.
Our development team has been working tirelessly on these fixes and infrastructure projects, many of which pave the way for some big features to be announced soon. We’re happy to be able to release these changes to you today.
Although most of these changes will not be immediately apparent to our users, three of the more noticeable items are:
We’ll be posting in-depth videos about these new features in the coming days, as well as announcing some more very exciting updates, so please follow us here on the blog and on our Facebook, Twitter, andĀ LinkedIn Group.
PCR 9 is getting a few end-of-year enhancements in this week’s release, including some stylistic updates as well as updates and improvements to our integration with SEEK.

Keep up the great work! Enjoy your day.
Thanks Travis! We’re looking forward to sharing more details on this update soon after it goes live.
Thank you!!!
Thank you for the hard work. Much appreciated!!!
Thanks for the info and look forward to your updates.
I have to say when I have had issues they have been quickly attended to and I really appreciate that.
Have a great day
Thanks for the comment, Rob! We’re always happy to hear that our users are being well taken care of.
Do we have to do anything to get the update? I’m on a Mac.
No, these updates are all on the servers here. The only things that would be on your local Mac are the launcher and the PCR Capture Chrome extension, and both of those will self-update whenever there is a new version available.
Updates are great, but when they break other simple processes in the database, it doesn’t seem as the code changes were well tested. I’ve logged 2 tickets for 3 different issues so far.
Hi Eric – Our QA team does their best to catch issues before release, but there will always be some areas that behave unexpectedly to changes under the hood. Fortunately, the developers are at the ready in the days following an update and generally find and patch major issues very quickly. We do appreciate your reporting the problems to our support team. They should be handled soon!
When will the updates be ready for the self hosted clients?
Thanks,
We don’t yet have a fixed date. Self-hosted releases often are delayed by a few weeks as we find and fix any issues that turn up after the ASP releases. Check with support@mainsequence.net for further details.
