Job Description

Our client is looking for System Administrators for their locations in Arkansas, Maine, North Carolina and South Carolina.  It is possible there might be other states available in the future.

To be considered a candidate for this position, you must possess the following experience, with a high degree of proficiency:

  • CUSTOMER SERVICE ORIENTATION
  • TCP/IP; DNS; DHCP
  • SERVER EXPERIENCE
  • WINDOWS PATCHING
  • MICROSOFT ISA (2000 OR LATER)
  • VMWARE
  • GHOSTED IMAGE TECHNOLOGY (SYMANTEC / ALTIRIS)
  • ACTIVE DIRECTORY (including AD ADMINISTRATION)
  • SERVER ADMINISTRATION ('03 / '08)
  • TROUBLESHOOTING SKILLS
  • GROUP POLICY OBJECTS (GPO)
  • POWER BACKUPS  (GENSET, UPC, HVAC)
  • WINDOWS XP / 7
  • CURRENT CERTIFICATIONS (Microsoft plus)

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Incident Management Level 1
  • Server/Application Administration
  • Server/Application Documentation
  • Desktop Support
  • Account Administration - This includes access to NT, Exchange, SQL, Proxy, and adds, deletes and moves
  • Change Administration Change Implementation Management (CIM)
  • IT Physical Asset Management
  • Software Compliance

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science or Communications Engineering Preferred
  • 2 to 4 years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Call / contact center background - preferably in a large BPO environment
  • Only those who have the highlighted experience mentioned above will be considered

Our client is offering a starting salary in the area of $50,000 to $55,000. This position requires the selected individual to work on site and modest relocation assistance will be considered.
