A high-growth biopharmaceutical company is expanding its presence in the oncology and infectious disease markets and is adding a Senior Product Manager or Associate Director (depending on experience) to their commercial team. This dynamic organization discovers and develops new chemical entities for critical, unmet medical needs and are now looking for a consumer-focused marketing professional to take their business to the next level. There are currently seven new products in various stages of clinical development. With all of this projected growth we are adding people to the marketing team who have the interest and ability to advance at least two levels within the organization during the course of their career, and average timeline for promotion is 18-24 months. Responsibilities:

The Senior Manager of Consumer Marketing will develop strategic and tactical marketing plans for drugs used to treat infectious diseases. They enjoy a large market share for their lead product in this segment so the strategic focus is on market development and brand promotion. You will develop and implement the consumer and patient-level marketing strategies including multi-channel strategy and plan implementation, messaging strategy, and media planning and execution. Duties include the development of online, social and digital marketing programs as well as off-line plans.

The Direct-to-Consumer strategy is focused on market expansion goals rather than on share-shift strategies. You will be responsible for the management of agency partners as well as traditional and non-traditional marketing channels. Further, you will evaluate the ROI of promotional efforts, program budget management, and provide recommendations to optimize further communication investments. You will represent patient marketing with cross-functional internal and external partners including Brand Marketing, Public Affairs, community advocates, legal, and regulatory.

Qualifications:

The successful candidate will have the following background:
• 6+ years of total biotech or pharmaceutical industry experience
• 3+ years of marketing experience in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry specifically in the direct-to-consumer segment
• Bachelor’s degree or better is required; MBA preferred
