A high-growth manufacturer of In Vitro Diagnostic tests is expanding their commercial organization and looking for a Medical Marketing Manager to join their global marketing team. Our client is an innovative, profitable IVD company that has delivered double-digit revenue growth each of the past four years. They are investing in new diagnostic segments, including significant increases in R&D spending and an expansion of the sales force. If you are looking for a scientifically challenging marketing assignment with a growing organization on the leading edge of diagnostic technology then this could be the opportunity for you.

Duties and Responsibilities:

As Manager of Global Marketing you will have the opportunity to develop strategies and implement plans for a line of diagnostic tests used in metabolic, thyroid, transplant, fertility, and oncology. The job consists of upstream product planning collaborations as well as downstream product positioning and messaging activities and requires commercialization and product launch skills. You will work closely with global counterparts to develop marketing plans for each country region and formulate business plan presentations based on patient and customer needs as well as the competitive landscape.

Specific duties in this high-profile global assignment include product specification planning, gathering Voice of Customer, market research, product road-mapping, and go-to-market strategies. You will oversee commercialized products as well as shepherd new products through the launch process and manage their lifecycle as they are commercialized globally. You’ll serve as the commercial representative on cross-functional teams with colleagues from R&D, Manufacturing, Finance, Medical Affairs and Sales. The Marketing Manager will also spearhead messaging and branding for the development of training materials and collateral for the sales team.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of overall experience in the Biotechnology industry

• 2+ years of product marketing experience in the Clinical Diagnostics space
• Bachelor’s degree or better in a scientific discipline; MS or MBA preferred
