A high growth Medical Device company is expanding its commercial group and needs a Manager to lead a small team in their Financial Planning and Analysis department. This highly profitable organization has operations in over 100 countries and is adding new technology in the fields of cardiology and diabetes. They exceeded revenue expectations by 20% last year and are projected to do the same this year, so they are adding select positions across the organization. The Manager will supervise a team responsible for cash flow analytics and financial reporting for a business unit operating in the Diabetes market. Your team will be responsible for identifying risks and opportunities to help them meet their short and long term financial goals. Specific duties include cash flow analysis and expenditure monitoring, including capital investment planning. You will develop a monthly income statement, balance sheet and other financial reports for your division, and make and defend recommendations based on your analysis of those reports. You will also support the education of senior management regarding financial assumptions and key business and variance drivers.

As the team supervisor you will hire, train and coach junior Analysts and assume direct responsibility for results, empowering others while maintaining high performance standards. The Manager will also develop and manage a department budget and allocate resources across projects to ensure that deadlines are met. This is a high-profile assignment where you will meet routinely with the Controller and Division President, so significant opportunities exist for career development and advancement. In addition to strong analytical and quantitative abilities the Manager will be expected to have excellent interpersonal and presentation skills.


The successful candidate will have the following qualities:
• 5+ years of experience in diversified Finance or Accounting positions that has included extensive financial analysis and reporting
• Broad experience developing income statements, balance sheets, cash flow projections, and capital expense plans
• Direct supervisory experience or experience managing cross-functional teams
• Bachelor’s degree or better in Finance or Accounting; advanced degree preferred
